Born in a great starvation that killed many, she and her siblings barely made it along with their parents. However, Palmkit (her little brother) wasn't strong enough and succumbed to hunger. But, as they say, what kills you makes you stronger, and the small family bounced back. Beechkit and her sister, Sunnykit, grew under the loving care of Lagoonleaf and Gravelstep. They had a fairly normal kithood and apprenticeship, besides the fact Beechpaw grew to be one of the most respected and highly antcipated young cats of CinderClan. She discovered she was a lesbian around her mid-apprenticeship and began meeting with Flurrypaw of BlazeClan and the two developed a strong bond. They began dating quite soon, but when they became young warriors Flurrysky broke it off to remain loyal to ger Clan.

She decided she was more faithful to her duties than foolish young love, leaving Beechflower devastated. She threw herself into training and became increasingly uncomfortable; she was becoming the local heart-throb of the Clans. Battle after battle she proved herself a worthy opponent and quickly gained a pair of shredded ears from her many battles. As time persisted, she became more and more lonely and isolated from her family, much to their sorrow. However, after the warrior Merlinwater was attacked and blinded in one eye the two became close. Spirits uplifted and successfully lifted out of her funk, she gained close relationships with her family once again. Merlinwater and her were very bashful and flirty with their feelings, and yet never seemed to dance close enough to the line to actually be confirmed dating. This frustrated the Clan to no end, until one day a powerful epidemic of blackcough claimed the Clan. With Merlinwater on her deathbed, Beechflower confessed her feelings and found some undamaged herbs to save the Clan. Presented as a hero, the two finally started dating once Merlinwater was fully healed. It took them a few good seasons to finally become mates, but once they did a great celebration was upholded despite their protests. The pair grew old together and became elders until one day a falling tree in a storm crushed Beechflower as she (successfully) saved a litter of kits.
