Basilkit was born to troubled parents. His father was more absent then he was there and his mother, although kind and loving, was angry at his father. Basilkit took it with stride, however, and learned to lean on his siblings for the moment his parents couldn't be there. One day, he suggested they escape out of camp to prove themselves, which ended in tragedy. A fox attacked his siblings and him, leaving him the lone survivor, although permanently maimed. He lost his back legs and was very scarred up, also leaving him blind and deaf in one ear/eye. He was very traumatized because of this and had his apprentice ceremony delayed for two moons. He got some much needed therapy well into adulthood, but it didn't chase all his demons. Basilpaw was apprenticed to Darkpool, and the two got along very well! It took awhile for Basilpaw to get accustomed to training differently then his peers, but he worked hard and had his den-mates cheering for him!

Basilflame was very proud of himself for making it this far, but he felt like he hadn't proved himself to himself yet. One day, some kits ran out of camp and he defended them against a fox, nearky dying in the process. Finally having faced his demons, he felt more at peace with himself and he continued to become a well adjusted warrior, one many cats outside of CinderClan admired. Basilflame never picked up a mate nor had kits of his own, rather helping raise other litters when he had the time. When Saphowl became Sapstar, he was named deputy, to his delight. Many seasons went passed and Basilflame retired in his senior years when his bones kept acting up. He passed away on a walk, taking one last look at the place his siblings' lives were taken before passing away.
