personality: gets very nervous in almost any situation, tends to be jittery and quick to flee from new experiences. if she manages to be comfortable around someone they'd find that she's surprisingly morbid despite her young age, and very awkward with her interactions. in general she's terrified of herself and what her magic might do.

There's a lot of powerful magic stored up in Apple but she can't really control it outside of simple casts. She produces weird, unpredictable, and occasionally dangerous magic dispersals at random intervals. The magic almost never works for Apple when she WANTS it to; because of this, she is easily frustrated and spends a lot of time alone to sort herself out. She's afraid of getting close to others in fear of accidentally hurting them.

story w/ Cookie (zombie cat): when Apple was 8, her magic had an Acting Up incident and began to bring someone's remains back to life. At first Apple was seriously freaked out! However, she had a moment of introspection, and thought that maybe whatever her magic was creating would be interesting. At the time, Apple was extremely alone and lowkey wanted someone to be her friend, so she let it happen. She even took part in reassembling the body as the magic was trying to reconstruct it; she decided to name her creation Cookie during this time. Her interest didn't last long however, because as soon as the limbs actually started moving, she lost her cool and abandoned her project. Cookie didn't awaken soon enough to see their creator.

Apple forgot about Cookie afterwards, and was very unprepared for them to reappear in her life 5 years later. Cookie really wasn't a fan of being alive and was highkey pissed about being brought back to life w/ no reason, especially since they couldn't remember any of their past. They had made it their goal to hunt down their creator and cause them living hell, but that kinda failed when they finally found Apple and realized that she was just a kid; not to mention, Apple really hadn't changed much from her 8 year old self. She was still living with no one in her life and just barely getting by. Cookie decided (begrudgingly) to stick around with her since they really had no other purpose to their life. Eventually they grow close, and Cookie helps Apple gain control of her powers. Cookie stays Obviously bitter most of the time but is genuinely kind under the layers of cynicism. Cookie basically becomes a very awkward undead parent to Apple.

fun facts

• she loves bugs a lot. she tries to hide her love but that just makes it even more obvious
• apple used to live with her mother, but ended up accidentally killing her when her magic manifested at age 7. she's been on her own ever since, getting by on her random lucky magic, the kindness of strangers, and thievery in the big city.  
• the range of apples magic is unprecedented. it can do anything from moving a pebble, to teleporting objects, to creating life. 
• her favorite pass time is sneaking peeks at cookies poetry. apple isn't the best at reading, but cookie is working at teaching her, and day by day she gets better at understanding cookies words. she finds most of it really funny, but she does support their hobby.
