Design Notes;
- Has a natural hair gradient, hair is lighter at the tips; this gradient gets significantly less prominent for her fantasy au, hair lighter only at the very ends.
- You can draw her with swirls on her eyes or not. Smiles. The circles under her eyes are always there though.
- Dark pink eyes, unlike Misumi's light pink. Very important.
- Her hair is actually pretty straight, just messy since she's not good at taking care of it and bad at making braids.
- Pretty much always has a smile on her face. It looks a little unnerving. If not smiling, she's most likely spacing out blankly.
- She's very stiff and doesn't move very much, this together with her tendency of standing at corners or just watching instead of doing anything can make her feel a lot like a decorative doll.
Trivia;
- Her 'motto' (more or less) is to live as however she wishes, since living rightfully or not will not change anything— you only live once, after all. She tends to apply the same thought for others, but generally isn't concerned with whatever they do, regardless.
- Generally very simple way of thinking. It's almost as if she can't mentally process otherwise, so she doesn't. It goes hand in hand with her general numb attitude to everything.
- A decently famous scientist, notable from her accomplishments since a very young age. Some say it's almost natural, since her parents are scientists as well.
- Azami focuses especially in neuroscience— one of her main projects is to recreate a human brain artificially, which was the one that gave birth to Misumi.
- Much like Misumi, both her names are flower names: Yanagi is the word for the tree willow, meaning mourning and melancholy. Azami, meanwhile, is the word for the thistle flower, meaning nobility of character and independence in Hanakotoba.
- Her favorite animal are roosters.
- Fond of children games and stories. Believes in Santa Claus.
- Lacks mobility and moves pretty slowly, but surprisingly lasts longer than you'd think.
- In a fantasy au, Azami is a type of ghoul/undead called Padma, a race of my own creation. She has tattoos from her left cheek down to her chest, sharp nails and wings made of bones. Her skin gains an unnatural tone to it. Her colors are overall different because she's dead lol.
- In some AUs, has another brother called Mikoto Kajiyashiki. Shoutout to Nico.
Relationships;
- Parents - Azami isn't concerned with them at all. It's almost as if they're invisible to her— but make no mistake. She'll never forget for as long as she's here. They understand this, otherwise there'd be no reason for them to be so scared of her.
- Misumi Yanagi (Sister) - The person she most cares about. Just watching and interacting with Misumi gives her an idea of normalcy she never has had before. She's irreplaceable. Azami wants her to be happy.
- Sayuri Arimitsu (Cousin) - An incredibly fun person. A warm sun, in Azami's eyes. They get along well to the point of immediately bouncing off each other when they meet. It's thrilling.
- Tetsuya Arimitsu (Cousin) - Misumi is close to this one instead. Azami likes to offer him medicine to make him feel better. He doesn't need to be in pain.
