Llallaua San Martín

The indomitable human spirit will always prevail!
A proud Peruvian man and popular local idol. Though "idol" can be used sort of loosely. He's not a great singer, and his performances are more like pathetically flopping around like a fish on stage. But he takes all the cheering and large audiences as the same as genuine admiration for his craft, and continues on as if people take him 100% seriously. He's either very in denial, or is genuinely unaware at how tone deaf he is. He has a princely attitude that turns to genuine love and excitement on the stage, and a large portion of his fans like him for this alone, not the actual music he creates. One could say it's hard to not feel something seeing his unabashed attempt to be an idol without the fear of being perceived negatively. For those with an open mind, he's the perfect man to root for his dreams to come true. Idols talk a lot about "doing everything for their fans", and some may not mean it, but he believes it truly with his whole heart.
Speaking of his dreams, besides the normal idol things like being financially successful and having many fans, something Llallaua strives to advocate for is "world peace". Maybe not in the most realistic sense, but he believes if everyone listens to his music and takes his messages seriously, maybe one day the human race can get closer to achieving it. He thinks people should be more open minded! Even if they don't like his music, or his singing, or his dancing... Or anything he does... Hopefully they can agree that bringing people together to sing in unison is never a bad thing! Being yourself and baring your true feelings is something he feels strongly about.
Llallaua San Martín is just his performer name, with his real name unknown to the general public. His stage name derives from José de San Martín, one of the main military generals who would come to make the Peruvian Republic by means of revolutionary war. He looks up to him like many other Latin Americans, but in the end his admiration is almost like a LARP, considering he and his family are criollo and of Spanish descent. He tries very hard to cover that fact up. He's basically a revolution otaku after all, it'd ruin his image. The relation to his heritage can best be described as a non-Japanese weeaboo choosing their "Japanese name" out of random hiragana. He's a little confused, but he's got the spirit! He carries some of the messages about his revolution otakudom into his music, mainly themes of freedom.
Despite the many, many weird things about him, he's come to be a beloved figure in his country for his eccentric nature and performances. He's more like a minor celebrity where he lives, and is relatively unknown to other parts of the world.

OTHER
- His first name, Llallaua, means "magnificent". It's particularly hard for non Spanish speakers to pronounce-- the correct way is "Yayaua".
- His dedicated fans call him "Yayan". He decided against having a fan-name to call his audience, since he feels like it'd alienate people.
- The large majority of his fanbase are young women who love pathetic men. He doesn't know that and instead sees it as a good sign for the future, since they're the youth that will eventually come to power. They're learning a lot from his messages, surely!
- His elf-like ears are derived from one of his performances where he used a set of prosthetics. They've since become a staple of his brand image and always wears them when performing.
- He refuses to drink alcohol. Not only to keep his idol image intact, but also because he's afraid of what kind of things he'd say or do while drunk (probably stupid stuff). He's never tried alcohol before.
- He once competed in a hotdog eating contest and won. The entire time he campaigned for his idol activities and swore it was for "the love of his fans to prove that he can do anything for them". Ironically it turned out well for him, and his popularity saw a slight spike.
- Llallaua loves making cover songs, but he tends to butcher it in the process as soon as he adds his singing and his "own little flairs".
