About
At a young age, he was put in an orphanage due to his parents unwilling to take custody of him. He was raised in the same orphanage as Eru, where he took care of them like a younger sibling.
In his teens, Riso was known to be a stoic kit who saw himself against the world. He would answer sharply, and was considered unsociable and cold unless forced interactions upon. Zy, one of his upper classmates, was able to befriend Riso after countless attempts to recruit him (or anyone) into a band. Zy then later became an influence for Riso to pick up music and began to learn how to play guitar and bass for his makeshift band.
After becoming an independent at age 18, Riso went to college as an Art History major, a job career he figured he can pass by memorizing how to analyze images and make convincing arguments about subjective art. During college, he worked several smaller jobs. After graduation, Riso continued to worked as a convenient store worker during the day and an replacement for indie bands at night, both he claims just for pocket change. He hasn't found himself settling as of now (and honestly hasn't thought too deeply about his future), and currently lives alone in a one-room apartment.
He can commonly be found socializing in bars, or chilling in the shopping district.
Personality (in-Depth)
Riso is known to be a laid-back kit and often seems airheaded... though is actually very attentative. His eyes are often in slits or closed, to give off a mysterious playful vibe, though he himself is very calm and quiet. He often acts as a drifter and adapts easily to social circles due to his fleeting personality.
At his convenient store job, the handwritten calligraphy signs that indicate when an item is on sale on a special deal are all done by him. As a worker, he's very friendly and kind, though his words are very customer service leveled, as if he was reading off of a script. He also knows how to work the convenient store printer, and would be the guy everyone goes to when they want to print a picture of their pet or something.
Riso has played the bass and guitar thanks to Zy’s influence. He is mainly a bass player. He plays music as a getaway of sorts, though his whole life he never felt the need to pursue it as a profession. He currently isn't settled in any specific band, and usually is requested for free as a back-up or a replacement for a bass or guitar player.
Riso has an interest in graphic design and art history, and likes visiting art museums. He knows how to screen print and do calligraphy as a side hobby.
