Bag_Pok%C3%A9_Ball_Sprite.pngLucidum (Luci) Normal Lv. 50

Gentle nature

Imposter

Transform

A peculiar off-colour Ditto that was brought to James for research. They commonly refuse to leave James alone, often trying to cheer him up when he's down. Despite this, they seem more distant to the rest of the system, only favouring James personally.

Bag_Pok%C3%A9_Ball_Sprite.pngDew & Two Normal Lv. 50

Impish & Timid nature

Limber

Transform

A pair of Ditto that James claimed were once one; this seems evident in the fact that they're able to share a Pokéball. One is infamous for transforming into people to play tricks or get to places they shouldn't be, where-as the other seems quite timid and anxious at the idea of doing things it shouldn't. James keeps them close-by for research.

Bag_Pok%C3%A9_Ball_Sprite.pngNancy Dark Lv. 50

Sassy nature.

Illusion

Substitute • Protect • Calm Mind • Payback

Almost always in Human Form. Reference Here.

A Zoarark that sees herself more as a human than a Pokémon. Zoarark are able to illusory change their shape into another being, and in that form even mimic human speech; as such- commonly disguised as a human- Nancy is often mistaken as Professor Rogers' assitant than his Pokémon. Not that she talks much; she's quite a quiet person, and often comes off as cold or hard of hearing.

Although not transformation, James is prone to studying her powers of illusion to see how they're done, and Nancy doesn't appreciate being seen as a test subject. Because of this, she tends to dislike James. She does enjoy the company of the rest of their system- particularly Amelia- though, and is often found helping them around the house or with chores.

Bag_Pok%C3%A9_Ball_Sprite.pngFormare Normal Lv. 50

Calm nature.

Own Tempo

Transform • Sing • Sketch

A rather relaxed Smeargle who acts as the System's personal field artist. The Pokémon can somehow learn any moves, at one point learning transform from one of the Ditto, and is also studied for that reason.

In an unrelated experiment, Smeargle was recently taught how to sing in order to help lull the System to sleep during episodes of high stress, fixation, or the nastier CPTSD episodes.

Bag_Pok%C3%A9_Ball_Sprite.pngCerberus Normal Lv. 50

Sassy nature.

Fur Coat.

Mimic • Role Play • Protect • Attract • Rest

A very snooty Furfrou that listens to only Fortuna, but is so pampered that it refuses its pokéball and needs to be babysat at all times. The system are very divided on their opinions of the dog.

In terms of research, Ceberus is somehow able to mimic the moves of other Pokémon. On the rare occasion, he's proven himself able to transform this way, but it's incredibly hard to convince him to do so unless Fortuna is the one asking.

MEW Normal Lv. ??

Curious nature.

???

???

A mythical Pokémon that's taken interest in James & co. James has been obsessed with finding Mew for a very long time, down to moving to a lab located near its shrine. Despite the fact that it's quite often following James- and the fact that once, his Ditto transformed into it-, James has no idea that the Mew is there at all. Sometimes he swears he sees it in the corner of his eye, but it's often put down to sleep deprevation or hallucinations.

summary

A Pokémon Professor that lives in the lab at Lake Celeste. Specialising in Pokémon Transformations, Professor Rogers has been known to send people on quests to find books, artifacts, and even Pokémon, in order to aid his research. People don't really see him much otherwise, as he's usually huddled up in his messy lab with his work.

Rogers is the host of Dissociative Identity Disorder System, and although that isn't much of a secret, almost none know that his research has been almost entirely with his System in mind. With hopes of honing the transformation powers of Pokémon so that they may physically switch to the self-images they each have, James has been obsessed with his goal for going on a decade now. This hit an odd chapter when he accidentally spliced themself with a Ditto, causing parts of their body to turn into a pink goo (alongside other issues), and amusingly they still can't transform.

personality

Considerate

Sincere

Trustworthy

Dedicated

Passionate

Stubborn

Anxious

Clumsy

Disorganised

Often falling over his own words, Professor James Rogers is a bit of a mess to talk to. A little frantic, stuttery, and distractible in places, he tends to avoid human contact in order to avoid the consequences. James often seems tired, or anxious, and is almost always fixated on his research. Still, it's nothing to worry about. What seems concerning to an unknowing onlooker, is just the norm for the man himself. He's used to living a rather eventful life, what with being the host of a Dissociative Identity Disorder system- amongst other things, and they have their coping mechanisms in place should they need them... or should they even find a moment to remember to use them.

James himself has become somewhat of a hermit in recent years, disliking venturing outside the ground of their lab; but that doesn't stop the others from venturing out into the world.

  • Visual Guide of Ditto Markings & Scars
  • Is incredibly secretive about his 'skin defect' (Ditto splotches), and does his best to hide them. Despite this, there's one on the left of his neck that he's unable to fully hide without something like a scarf.
  • Always carries an old leather journal and an old tape recorder, both used for both research notes and keeping track of personal factors such as time, switches, episodes, etc.
  • Has a lot of paintings and themeing around the Ancient Mew card. Feel free to take inspiration from its colours & symbols.

The System

GqdUA4s.png

Astor Rogers • Younger Brother

A stoic man with a cold exterior, easily distinguishible in body-language from the others. The System's Protector, and another Professor.

8853475?1617418911

Rupert Rogers • Youngest Brother

A socially-charged alter who loves getting into friendly Pokémon battles. Hyperactive beyond belief, and banned from more fragile areas of the lab.

8853463?1617376200

Amelia Rogers • Mother (introjected)

A copy of their biological mother, who gives the System and the Pokémon the care they may lack from some of the others in the system. A very loving woman, albeit quite into gossip.

klsT5q6.png

Fortuna • Aunt-Figure

A very loud woman, who claims she used to be 'infamous in Contest Circuits'. Whether that's true or not, she's mostly found drinking wine and relaxing in the garden.
