About
Once a pompous noble halfbreed eager to prove himself, Gene's life was turned upside down when the war came to his home town. Unable to flee and forced to take up arms, he had to throw out his cushy life away to defend himself and his fellow soldiers. After what he had seen even once the war had settled he could never return to the life he had.
Now with a drive to help those in need, Gene has turned his allegence to the crown as he has been charged with being the prince's personal guard as he takes the throne. A noble task to be sure. Now if only the prince were not so kind, intriguing, and terribly beautiful perhaps Gene's thoughts would remain noble as well.
