Pomelo

Pomelo grew up in a humble family setting. His father, Dallin, was the only taste of royalty Pomelo had experienced growing up, as his mother was a commoner who spent her time trying to teach her grubbins to be independent of royal privileges and expectations.

Throughout their childhood, Pomelo's parents frequently bumped heads on how to raise him and his brother, Dionysus. On one hand, his father wanted them to experience the privileges of royalty, as they were considered princes due to being sons of a king. However, his mother wanted them to experience the life of a commoner - working for what they want to achieve, and not expecting too much from others. These differing opinions eventually split Pomelo and Dionysus's parents apart - his mother moving to a separate hive, leaving the two grubbins with their father. Pomelo spent most of his time learning, while his brother spent most of his time with their father, learning how to carry himself and how to act royally.

One day, Dallin gave the boys a choice: to split from the hive or to stay at the hive. Pomelo, who, was still quite young at the time, had decided to split and form his own hive in the hopes to spread knowledge, along with the teachings of his mother. While he would carry the lessons on royalty that his father taught with him during his time as King of his own hive, his goal was to rule a hive as if he were one of the commoners, but to be respected like that of royalty.

With that, Pomelo had left the hive - taking many weeks to find a spot that was perfect. It was only when he came across an enchanted sunflower field that he found the perfect spot - a twenty-foot-tall enchanted sunflower that stood protected by the dangers that lurked beyond in the surrounding forests. Using his mother's lessons of hard work, Pomelo worked alone to craft the hive within the sunflower, making rooms, studies, and even a grand library.

King Pomelo rules Sunspot Meadow with a firm but caring paw, inviting wanderers to reside within the hive, and also ruling alongside his two beloved mates, Safestia and Novius.

During his time as King, Pomelo was blessed with the gift of wisps in his eyes, presumably from an otherworldy presence. The wisps allow him to quickly flip thrrough the pages of books, gathering all of the information he needs without having to stop to read. He also came across new discoveries, by mixing ingredients and making special honies, thus, he gained pupils, and his wings changed! Alas, happy with his discoveries, he made recipie books for other pixies to try out themselves.
