aurora is the navigator of the stargazer. she is most often found at the wheel, keeping everything in line and making sure everything is going the correct way. she's gruff and snappish, prone to baring her fangs at her crew. she's not particularly close to the crew, though she cares about them in her own way.

aurora has a very limited gift of prophecy: she knows when, how, and where someone is going to die (but not her own death). this is because she's had a very long line of near death experiences, beginning before she joined the crew. she's even actually died a couple times! the only reason she's stuck around this long is because the local death god kinda dispises her and wants her to die somewhere else and not end up in their realm, so they gave her the gift of prophecy to avoid those situations. however, prophecy was not their domain so the gift mutated.

when it comes to her scars, aurora tells the most wild and outlandish stories about how she got them... and they're all 100% true! not that people outside the stargazer believes them of course. she gets a kick out if it.

oh, the skull she carries with her actually has a ghost in it named anastasia. they're friends. sometimes aurora talks to anastasia and people think she's nuts bc they can't hear the ghost but she's there.
