Shadowstep ☁️

Shadowstep is a lithe, graceful black cat, with fur so dark it blends into the night. She's on the smaller side, but that only helps to improve her stealth. She has a natural talent at moving completely silently, and as such is one of the best hunters in Moonclan. She has large, piercing yellow eyes, that are often half-lidded in a glare.

Shadowstep is easy to forget- and, well, they usually prefer it like that. She lived alone for most of her life, alone in the cave systems in the mountains.

She lived alone for most of her life, in the cave systems a little further north in the mountains. She had actually met Moongaze before joining Moonclan- she knew that she had powers, speed and control over the winds most cats did not, and she knew that Moongaze was strange as well.

Moongaze was the one to seek her out, after Moonclan had been officially formed- Shadowstep was one of the very first warriors to join this new clan, full of magic cats like her. She was unprepared for the community of a clan, really, but has since grown to like it, even if being surrounded by so many other cats is sometimes too much for her.

Shadowstep is a hunter and a member of the Council, and while she originally wanted to refuse the role when Nightstar offered, she caved eventually. She does enjoy the respect being a councilmember gets her.
