SALAMANDER PHYSIOLOGY || Xylnthian is a salamander, and comes equipped with salamander-born abilities. His true form is actually that of a rather large (6-7 ft-ish) bipedal lizard-like creature, with bio-volcanic- skin. Naturally, they're a pretty hardy and fast bunch, though their true expertise lies with fire. Capable of absorbing and manipulating fire, he's essentially completely fire and heatproof. At its base stage without any absorbed fire, salamander skin is actually rather cool to the touch. But absorbing fire does make their skin warmer. Magic is generally an innate thing, but it still needs to be learned, so Xyl leared transformation magic and adopted a human form, which he can switch back and forth from, and also switch parts in and out. And well, he's actually literally a bio-volcanic species, so he actually bleeds lava. If you cut his human form, lava would come out because, you know. He's still not human.

ENGINEERING/ENCHANTMENT MAGIC || Though it's more of a mix of blacksmithing and engineering. Xylnthian grew up a blacksmith, so he knows all of the ins and outs of crafting weapons and armor and other appliances. This includes knowledge of enchanting magic, which he uses on his weapons to add buffs, basically. Nowadays he's someone who works on, well, technology, so he's incorporated his magic into that as well. Xylnthian specifically specializes in both weapons engineering and bionics. He works in a weapons company, but also has a small prosthetics business set up. Also does some other stuff in it tho.
