Rûnael et Cecedit

Description

A sociable and friendly individual who tends to try and see the best in others. Recent events left him with a disregard for high authority and with an unstable temper, especially given he is not used to experiencing emotions as strongly as he does now. Whilst he was never known for his patience, he has even less tolerance for the unfair and cruel treatment of others and will absolutely react aggressively. In addition, due to his desire to help humanity deal with the Endwar, he tends to freely dispense his knowledge of Ancient Lore regarding the Age of Myth, whether he's asked or not.

Judgement
An ability that when used reflects one's sins upon themselves upon eyecontact. The target's soul is cleansed by holy fire, causing them to experience the torment they have inflicted on others in equal measure. Those that can't handle the weight of their own sins, and the toment they inflicted upon others, or those swallowed by their own guilt lose their life in the cleansing of their soul, their former bodies turned to a pillar of salt, their soul departed to purgatory, cleansed of sin and evil, but still lacking the virtues that would allow for entry into heaven. Those who survive this process gain a clean slate, and a newfound empathy for those they have wronged. This ability is the most feared of Rune's powers.
Justitia's Scales
A rather interesting ability, that allows Rûnael to detect a lie when spoken. In his fallen state it requires specific activation and concentration. In addition it is not completely infallible as it can't detect a lie by omission. Before his fall, this ability made it impossible to lie in his presence, but naturally it has been greatly weakened.
Aura Channeling
By controlling his inner power, he infuses his limbs with speed and strength beyond a human's, this is an ability all angels possess and is further enhanced by the Divine infusion. Rune's status as the former Archangel of Justice puts him on par with most angels of the Second choir even without the infusion. An archangel that is by nature a Dominion would likely defeat him in terms of this however.
Hagio-Pyrokinesis
Rune can almost freely call forth and control divine fire. Highly effective against the wicked and unclean, it is one of his greatest weapons. In addition to the obvious method of setting things on fire, these flames can be channeled through his limbs and weapons, opening up a plethora of specialized combat techniques, increasing the damage he deals through this, and further increasing his durability. His flames are an expression of his aura, soul and mental state. If they burn cyan he is motivated by justice, if they appear as ordinary fire, he is motivated by vengeance. If they burn red, he is losing himself to Wrath. It is said that the cyan flames turn his victims to salt instead of ash, if they are truly wicked.
Angelic Magic
Perhaps more a result of his knowledge of it then a straight up power, but he can use his understanding of the celestial language to bind, purify and seal entities and certain concepts. As he lacks the Divine Infusion to power this, it takes his own energy in order to fuel said magic, and overuse will tire the hell out of him.
Wings of Flight
The form that performs the most obvious function, his wings allow him to channel his energy to achieve flight. Not in the traditional sense of flapping them, it works more akin to a form of antigravity and the propulsion through expelling said energy. With his current pair of wings, his top speed is roughly the same as a car, flying at a decent 340 km/h at most. With his second pair of wings however, his speed increases exponentially, allowing him to overtake a jet fighter in terms of speed and agility, reaching up to speeds of mach 5, though the faster he flies the quicker he is exhausted. his wings in this form are blackened by soot, but take a more gray color when properly cleaned, with a few streaks of a silvery white. the current pair has a wingspan of roughly 10 feet.
Wings of Steel
Sacrificing flight in favour of combat effectiveness, Rune can shift his wings into a form that consists of dense, metal blades of tarnished silver instead of feathers. The metal is nearly indestructible, and sharper then any human blade, and makes for an excellent physical shield, or even an emergency weapon, though it does not cancel out pain resulting from bludgeoning. In addition, 'feathers' he loses in this form stay in this form, and could have utility for humans with a clever and inventive mind. If he has his second pair of wings, he can expel a few of the daggerlike feathers in flight, though he'll have to take time to regrow the feathers lost that way, or lose his speed. A pair of wings can only take one of the two forms.
Infernal Sensitivity:
Without the shielding against corruptive influences, and the dulling effect of emotions that the divine infusion provides, Rune is far more sensitive to infernal influence then a human. Whereas a human has learned to resist temptation and such by their own will, Rûnael still struggles greatly with this. As a result he risks corruption into devilhood constantly.
Holy/Unholy Vulnerability:
An angel or devilblade is a lethal weapon against him, a mere cut will greatly weaken him, and could prove to be quite lethal if he leaves such wounds untreated. In addition, he is especially susceptible, partially because of his first weakness, to the more insidious abilities of demons and devils and their magic.
Fallen:
For all intents and purposes, due to lacking the Divine infusion, he lacks a lot of the benefits that most of his former brethren enjoy. He requires sustenance, experiences the full range of emotions to their full intensity and rest like a human, and lacks the healing factor of angels or devils.
Ludici:
a bastard sword with a silver blade and a runic inscription that glows with the color of the manifestation of his flames, and when in use it's often wreathed in fire. It is known as a powerful weapon even amongst angels, however it has a severe limitation: It can only be drawn to bring justice. When not in use it's stored in some sort of dimensional sheath, making it appear as if it's drawn from thin air when Rune does choose to wield this blade. It's said that this blade once belonged to the dead Seraph Justitia.
Fierent
A more recent addition to his armaments, this bow was formerly owned by his friend Eli. It's been affected by an angel's divine infusion, and thus had it's nature changed to be far more effective against the infernal forces, and having become much more sturdy. Eli rejected ownership of this bow because of the angelic influence upon it, and thus Rune decided to put it to good use and named it Fierent. Like his sword, this weapon can be used to channel his flame, to a lesser degree.
