Rûnael et Cecedit's Links
Eli was the first human Rûnael has met since falling, and has felt a profound bond to her he can't quite explain, causing him to stick by her despite her rather... initially hostile demeanor. That day he saw two angels bearing down upon the female, wounding her. He dispatched the two with ease, despite his weakened state, and then proceeded to follow the poor human. Rune tracked her to her hideout, happening upon two of her fellow hunters, attempting to help her. Of course due to the nature of angel blades it proved difficult when the opposing energies were wreaking havoc upon the female. He had removed the Divine energy that lingered from being stricken by the angel's blades. The whole thing proved to be far more disasterous due to her seal coming undone, causing the demonic blood to awaken onto it's own, and turning against him. A brief but intense battle later, he'd manage to seal the being, taking some pressure of Eli's conciousness as a side-effect, but not before it pulled one last trick upon him. Phoenix, as it called itself, kissed him, much to his shock and surprise. Whilst he doesn't understand it, the event awakened him to matters of attraction especially now that his heart and mind aren't shielded by the Divine Infusion anymore. At this point in time, after their brief time together, he's come to respect Elyaena as a warrior, and acknowledges her potential and admires her sheer resolve and drive, thus he will not hold back any truths if asked about things, and remain loyal and trusting of the female in question. What the future holds? none can say. His time on earth is certainly set to change him, but is it for the better or for the worse?
Eli met Rûnael after she was attacked by angels she really did not like that at first, in fact, SHE HATED IT she had to look out for this intolerable and insufferable man constantly throughout her journey especially after the fear demon they accounted she had to save his ass from it, which of course got him the silent treatment it didn't last very long though as much as she wanted to. After the hunt and attack of the Devil of Gluttony she of course sort of soften up on him but only just a tad, she was still furious at him, though he did manage to apologise maybe? There was also a minor incident while she was unconscious, she still refuses to think this nightmare was anything BUT a dream, and that annoying full-on french kiss really makes her angry and frustrates her so much that she lashes out at him, and of course has trouble looking at Rune in the eye the most times because of it.
For now, Eli tolerates Rune but if he ever turns into a devil/demon, she will gut him without batting an eye.
Rûnael trusts Ramiel unconditionally, and is extremely loyal to her. He considers her more akin to an actual sister as opposed to the fairly benign but formal bond between the other angels. As such he would lay down his life to protect hers, and he knows it is mutual. Before his fall they often went out to battle the infernal forces, with a terrifying effectiveness. Their fighting styles meshed extremely well together, with Ramiel often providing the defense and tactics, allowing Rûnael to solely focus on offense with his destructive flame of Justice. When these two fought together, they tore through the battlefields on earth and even hell, sometimes their mere arrival being enough to send the enemy fleeing. Somewhat before his fall, Ramiel was framed by a traitor in the ranks of the Seraphim, and was to be executed. There were very few who spoke up against that sentence, due to the risk of opposing the First Sphere. Rûnael, however couldn't stand for this injustice, and started looking into it. Whilst he wound up being able to prove there certainly was a traitor in heaven, he couldn't prove who, but at the very least he could convince the council of Seraphim to change their sentence, when he combined some of his findings with the simple logic of getting rid of the most powerful Angel of Hope would tip the scales of power in the favour of hell. This event set in motion the events that ultimately would ultimately lead to Rûnael rebelling and choosing to become one of the Fallen.
After his fall, he still remembers Ramiel very clearly, due to their strong bond, and had been elated upon seeing her again. Their reunion proved of a short nature however, as the devil of Gluttony that Eli had fought required cleansing before it'd ruin the area altogether with it's corruption. He hopes to be able to find her again in the future and misses his sister dearly, but respects her wishes stated in the message she left him.
Ramiel is another angel from Heaven like Rûnael was, but she is the Archangel of Hope where Rûnael was the Archangel of Justice, Ramiel was closer to Rune than any other of her brother's and sisters before she was banished to earth to live in exile to never return to the High Heavens until the traitor was found she and Rune would descend to earth or fight the forces of hell together, with her abilities in shields, she and he was a force to be reckoned with nowadays Ramiel waits the day she could return to heaven but word has it that Rûnael has fallen from the Haven this could give her a chance to repay a debt to Rune for sparing her, but little does she know the war with heaven and hell could separate them both once again.
