They are known for speaking in parables and stories, only giving advice through riddle-like responses and gently guiding others, rather than flat out giving them an easy answer. For the most part, they live their life alone, but can be found if the one seeking them is desperate enough for their help. Rumors abound that they can heal wounds and illnesses, but none of these stories have been confirmed.
