✺ Planet Funasu ✺ (Warm)

Profile

The Hillside

This area is out in the country with the warm and welcoming sun. A lot of the resources Confonsters make come from here fresh from farmlands. There's hills and vast grasslands which provide space and fertile soil great for growing a variety of crops. A lot of ‘countryfons‘ reside here and they can be some of the wackiest and lovable fons you'll meet!

Sunshine Peaks

The largest cluster of hills with plateaus that can be seen at a distance

Sundew Valley

The valley in the middle of Sunshine Peaks. A lot of shade is here but when the sun is over the peaks it creates a beautiful scene. Some farms and houses are here

The Outback

A safari area consisting of arid dirt, grasslands, trees, and scattered scrappy plants. It partially surrounds the edges of Dusty Dunes.

Dusty Dunes

The desert biome of Funasu that has soft light peach sand. There's lots of plant life like cacti, shrubs, and succulents. Dusty Dunes is also the only place that grows these special sugar crystal formations from the ground up. They‘re edible and can be collected for foods or as decoration however they can melt when exposed to water. They aren’t able to be grown anywhere else, not even in artificial settings which makes them even more special.

Crayon Canyon (Landmark)

You could say it's inspired after the Danxia China landforms below, but I found out about the place after I thought of the idea!32283531_U08bnPggbQWeYC2.jpg?1615072356Styled similarly to the Grand Canyon on Earth, it’s located in Dusty Dunes and is a massive, rocky multicolored canyon. It’s one of Funasu’s biggest wonders and certainly a place you’d want to see real time for yourself in all it's beauty!

While a popular tourist destination, this place is still home to wild critters, the most common being Runners (species info tba in pet wiki). Angry balls of fluff that like to snap at the ankles of Confonsters if they come to close to their territory. They can be quite annoying, but it’s part of the fun visiting this wondrous place!

There’s many different beaches to visit on Funasu! Close to Coastlines and in the ocean waters themselves are where theme parks, restaurants, and piers are abundant.

Seaweed Island

Bucket Bay

An ‘ocean life‘ based city that’s business and industrial driven that takes up the majority of Seaweed Island. It’s the main place for imports and exports for the Confonster species. Confonsters in this area are friendly and often have a subtle Confonish accent.

Treasure Trove

A lot of lost items and trinkets end up at this cove both due to currents and animals stashing them here. Confonsters can dive for free and collect anything they find valuable to them. Confonsters may also sell their findings at their own stands here including non-Confonster objects like neat seashells.

Ukala

Halua

Inspired after Honolulu, Hawaii

Halua is a relatively small island and has a giant volcano as well as a much smaller one at the opposite end. There’s lots of tropical plant life here and grassy mountains. Everyday it mists off and on but heavy showers rarely occur.

Off to the side of Halua are a couple of smaller islands with bungalows for Confonsters to stay at.

Pool Party Beach

One of the most popular beaches on Funasu, this place mixes the theme of pools and beaches together! There’s resorts in this area and the beach itself is treated as if it were a pool; always having inflatables and even slides. It’s open to the public day and night, and to prevent any dangers from coming in there is a long net that extends to opposite ends of the beach that’s kept afloat by buoys. The loud music and activity here tends to scare off potential threats anyways.

Wish Beach

Located along the coastline near Cinema City

A mystifying beach that has special sand consisting of miniature bead-like crystals that have been smoothed down overtime from the waves. Larger gems can be found in whole pieces washed up onto the shore. They come in many different shapes and colors and the most common style being yellow stars. It’s unknown as to why this beach creates these sparkling anomalies, though some scientists speculate that they could be cooled fragments originating from Funasu's core. When a Confonster enters the water of this beach their movements leave a temporary golden sparkly trail in the water, like the blue plankton at Tasmania on Earth!

A special event that can occur at sunset or nighttime at this beach are starshowers. Starshowers can either consist of the same gem objects, gold raindrops, or both depending on how heavy it ‘rains‘. They fall from the sky with sparkling trails behind them from special clouds that take on a dark shimmery gold appearance. Nothing much beneficial comes from this anomaly other than it replenishes any lost sand/gems on the shore and the gems in general from this beach can be used for decoration and jewelry as well. The larger and spikier the gems that fall can hurt! Which is something to look out for when visiting this beach.

Paradise Rainforest32283928_ghAQCuTH2YAbEBd.jpg?1615072356The largest rainforest on Funasu. A lot of the plant life here is teal blue to purple. It’s humid and becomes more dense and extreme towards the center and it rains almost everyday. There’s a common soft bumpy moss that likes to grow along the ground and on rocks that blooms multicolored flowers. There’s lots of waterfalls and bridges that extend across the beautiful landscapes and rivers. This place is also semi-touristy and Confonsters can explore it by boat or on land with a tour guide. There’s a lot of exotic plant and animal life, and large and dangerous predators.

Paradises like to live here more on the outskirts in their own treehouses in the canopy.

There are also ancient buildings, artifacts, and statues that have been discovered covered in foliage. More are probably still hidden away.
