‘I’ve lost my mind!’ cry the masses, unaware that it‘s actually wallowing in the backrooms of an elusive Las Vegas casino... or at least, its core essence is.

The Personification of the Mind is one of many Gods living amongst mortals; albeit most gods aren’t as... unstable as this one is. Psyche is one of the primary deities, and progenitor of the Senses. It’s also a large hovering lack of matter & mass, centered only by a single glowing soul that often makes it look more like a fried egg than a god. Its form is not static however, and changes based on the mental state of the people it comes in contact with (or, on occasion of a breakdown, its own rapidly calculating thoughts). This, mixed with its ability to read minds, make it dangerous god to speak with,to interact with; particularly to the sort who ignore their own mental state in favour of ignorance (the one thing Psyche utterly cannot stand the idea of).

Personality-wise, the god is prone to flittering through heavy emotion: one minute it may love mortals, expressing empathy and praise for all of their vast achievements. And the next, it may wish the whole world to end in flames, telepathically preaching the hopelessness of the self, spiraling in its woe. As ironic or tragic as it may be, the personification of the psyche is at the whim of its own unimaginably complex mental unrest. Perhaps that’s why it takes such interest in the traumatized and complex: an endless search for true, unachievable empathy.

Oh well. At least it always has Fortuna to play mind-games with in its ever-forced existence.
