Home sweet home

n a small garden in the country side lived A lonely old lady who took care of her garden like it was her own child. It was as if the garden itself wanted to thank this woman for the love and care she gave, by blessing her with Olive, a hanamimi born from a petit bell flower. The elderly woman became a motherly figure to Olive, who rarely interacted or even saw anyone else. In no way was she unhappy about the life she’d been given. Though she was never surrounded by a sea of people, she grew up to be quite social and even encouraged to speak freely.

Nothing like your grandma food

The old lady loved cooking for Olive, who was a gluttonous child from birth. The woman felt nostalgic upon seeing her flower child devouring her dishes with much appetite. She shared both meals and stories of her youth, explaining how she was a famous chef before retiring. This nurtured Olive’s passion for both food and adventures. The urge to follow in the older woman’s footsteps grew stronger with each passing year, but she also didn’t want to leave her ‘mother’ behind, as she loved her dearly.

Goodbyes and new beginnings

Unfortunately the life of a human is limited, and the old lady passed away. Since on paper she was never the woman’s daughter, Olive didn’t have the right to the land they had lived on. She had to leave behind the house, the garden, and many happy memories. As heartbreaking as this was, it was also the start her own adventure as a gourmet. She packed her things and moved around from place to place with the purpose of satisfying her foodie needs. Her large aperture finally lead her to Dandelion Road, where she hopes to make new friends for whom she can share recipes with and cook for.
