Past

Sister to 14 siblings, Mei left her home to pursue her dream career : becoming a world-known magician! Err.. Or so she dreams. Because of her clumsiness and frightening bad luck, Mei bseems to bring along nothing but trouble, and nothing she ever tries seems to work out quite right, which is why no magician worth their salt wanted to take her in as an assistant. Despite this, one day her failed magic act caught the eye of a master illusionist, who saw in her not bad luck, but potential. And so Mei became his apprentice, training alongside him and learning every trick she could, hoping to one day follow in his footsteps.

Personality

Mei is energetic, bright and kind-hearted, although many may find her overwhelming to deal with. She will take on any challenge and do her best 'till the end, even if her awful luck may get in the way of success! She gets along with mostly anyone, and her positive vibes tend to rub off on anyone that sticks around for long enough. Meiko is goofy and will try ANYTHING to cheer you up if you're feeling down, even if it means not leaving your side for hours on end. She's also completely oblivious to any flirting she receives, playfully returning the compliments, without understanding the actual intention. Vermilion, her older brother, is the only family member she keeps in touch with, and although she loves teasing and bugging him, they deeply care about eachother. They're also big troublemakers whenever they're together, much to Dion's terror, who has to act as their babysitter. Despite her positive outlook in life and cheerful attitude, she sometimes struggles with her sense of usefulness, in which moments Meiko will mope around and be uncharacteristically sad.
