Mars is goth and wears a lot of garments with lace and sheer materials. They prefer ornate, elegant clothes and like wearing jewelry, usually gold. They tend to wear dark eye makeup and black lipstick. Their nails are always painted black regardless of what they are have on, and usually their hair is tied back in a ponytail. Mars has multiple ear piercings, wearing smaller earrings in the upper cartilage areas and large earrings like hoops or dangling pendants in the lobe piercings. When their mysterious abilities manifest, their eyes glow gold.

Fun and humorous, Mars loves making people laugh, as well as receiving attention for it. They're very confident, though it takes a lot of their energy to socialize. In general, they're good at communicating their points to others and are persuasive. When people first meet them, some tend to believe Mars may be flirting with them due to their coy, joking demeanor, but in reality they're just friendly and a bit strange. They are booksmart and good at solving problems and puzzles. Mars is an early riser and tends to sing while they work.

Though they come off as carefree, Mars is an emotional person. They feel responsible for their mother's death, thinking that they should have done more to help save her. Because of this Mars carries insecurities and intense empathy, and often neglect their own feelings for the sake of others. They bottle up these feelings which sometimes causes resentment to build up. Mars has some abilities not explained by witchcraft-related magic, no one is sure why.

Mars is strangely knowledgeable on pop culture and obscure trivia, they run several moderately popular bizarre humor blogs. None of them are connected and only a select few people know Mars runs them, sometimes they just post things Hollis says. Of course, they are very interested in video games. Mars is also interested in gardening, keeping a variety of plants at home.

Mars is Aspen the witch's younger sibling. recently Mars has begun living together with their girlfriend Hollis, whom they met through Aspen at 18 years old. Previously they lived with their father, and their mother Sloane Williams is deceased. Mars works at Aspen's shop, which was inherited through their mother that the two of them learned witchcraft from.

Mars accompanies Hollis on her search for Paimon, all the while their unexplained latent supernatural abilities are becoming more and more prominent. During their journey, the beings they confront give Mars more clues as to why these powers manifest in the first place.
