Ara (for short), or Sara Tachibana is an employee of the Information Team in Lobotomy Corporation. She was hired due to her near-photographic memory. However, most of her co-workers think of her as a jokey airhead. What some of them doesn't know is that she's been trying to forget a memory from long, long ago...
She started her job in the Corp serving a role more akin to an office boy/clerk. All she did was fetch things or help people find things they lost. All the while, she didn't have good equipment, and is forced to see some of her co-workers die helplessly. Even when she finally took the role of a proper employee with sufficient E.G.O. equipment, she is still ordered to only strictly follow orders. Such as having to suppress an abnormality while ignoring a dying employee. Eventually, she grew sick of this role, and started to act upon her own judgement instead of blindly following orders, no matter what the consequence may be for her.
Despite her looks, she is a very capable and nimble fighter, owing to her past in doing traditional dances. Both in the Corp and in the Library, she will always do her best to protect her co-workers, especially Haru, who she sees as a little sister figure, akin to her deceased sister.
