brave and inquisitive, aspenstream is an agile tom with a memorable personality. he is stronger than he may outwardly seem, and is nimble or, as he would put it, sharp witted but with sharper claws. he is more light-hearted than yarrowstar which may get on her nerves sometimes, but he truly doesn't mean to rub her the wrong way. aspenstream is a thoughtful deputy; he holds no prejudice towards rogues and even kittypets, as he understands what it was like to be a rogue once. he treats everyone fairly and is well liked among the clan. he has a soft spot for his brother, windcrest, despite their frequent scuffles and arguments. he’s the sunshine of the clan - yet he worries about his worth and if he’s truly suitable for the role of the leader. he’d never admit it though in fear of doubting yarrow’s judgement. he never ends up taking the role especially after windcrests death and the fall of the clan: he blames himself and ends up very sad n lonely :( everyone still loves him tho. he’d never turn a cat away, even when windcrest was a shit to him over and over. ends up raising sloehum alongside senna in wind’s place.

APPEARANCE
aspenstream is on the smaller side of the scale, though his legs are slightly longer than average. he is well muscled, though not bulky and is well fitted for climbing, running and even swimming if the situation called for it. his form is lithe and limber and he moves steadily. despite his small stature, he is a skilled warrior and will gladly prove his skills to any who oppose him. he is of oriental descent - he has a more sloped, angular face and bigger ears than average. his coat is a short-haired silver lynx point with bright blue eyes.

WINDCREST [ brother ]
a sore spot, for sure. seperated when young, it's fair to say aspen got the better end of the stick. although not raised comfortably, he was nurtured well enough until he found his own way to fickleclan and settled easily into the ranks. windcrest on the other hand, well... fell into worse hands. his brother is a tricky one; hard to get close to and even harder to have a passive conversation with. windcrest struggles with any sort of stability, it seems. get too close to him, he snaps. if he gets too comfortable in one spot, he moves. yet aspenstream cares for him dearly, no matter the backlash and the troubles it gets him in. in the end, windcrest is his brother until the end and he'll be damned if he's letting that runt drive himself into the ground - not on his watch.
