Character

It is not hard to get to know him, he appears as a jackass to most people, but he knows whenever he should stop being an idiot and take things seriously. He is more social than his two younger brothers, offering help, but appears to be stubborn about accepting help when he clearly has things under control. His brothers viewed him as the confident one, always being honest and caring older brother.

History

Jaakko Koskikallio is the first born child in the Koskikallio family in Finland. He was born in the countryside, learning to live like a farmer. He was raised with more strictness than his two younger brothers, his parents weren't capable of stopping him from running into trouble with the rest of the boys. Even had a habit of annoying girls, especially Sylvi that he really liked, he was being a boy after all so he had to be a show off to her. Later he managed to gain Sylvi's interest even if he was a jackass to her.

When winter war came, he didn't want to leave Sylvi alone, fearing he'd never see her again nor his upcoming child. He had to leave to protect his country along his two younger brothers that he tried to protect during it. They couldn't stick in the same groups all the time, he was the one that took most of the risks of being killed only to keep his brothers safe. The group he was with ventured too far away to find any injured soldiers that lead up the group being killed. He got shot, and managed to get into safety, but his chances of surviving were slim. He was found injured by Vera Ivanov, a Russian that could've left him to die. Instead he was being taken care of by her.

• His favorite flower is a anemone hepatica.
• Jaakko never got fully along with every one of his siblings duo to him having his own beliefs that he got from his family.
• He was thought to be dead when he didn't return home when winter war ended nor his body was never found. No one didn't know he was actually alive in Russia.
• He is a hardworking man, always doing most of the harshest tiring works for his family because he knows he can stand those.
• Jaakko used to tease Sylvi a lot, even gave her a bit mean nickname when he was younger. Whenever he saw her he called her as "Sylvi sylki" which meant Sylvi spat/spit.

Relationships

Sylvi Koskikallio [ wife ]

Jaakko loves his wife dearly, and has stopped being a jackass to her the moment he got to be with her. Still time to time he likes to tease her, but he is more gentle about it knowing he'd get his ass whooped by her if he didn't shut his mouth about it.

Luka Koskikallio [ younger brother ]

He was close to his brother, time to time hanged around with him along Elias and brawled a lot. He was protective of Luka, making sure he didn't get hurt or do anything stupid.

Elias Koskikallio [ younger brother ]

He was close to Elias as well just like he was with Luka, but tended to be more playful around Elias knowing he was the youngest of them and allowed him to be childish.

Helge Koskikallio [ mother ]

Jaakko had been the hardest one to raise for being the first child, he intentionally annoyed his mother a lot as younger and he still does. He is close to her, and has behaved a lot better when got older. Even if she was strict to him, he loved her dearly because he knew she only wanted the best for him by being stern with him.

Vera Ivanov [ friend ]

Jaakko was at first suspicious of her when she dragged him in her home. After getting to know her and getting his wound mended, he started to trust her a lot more. She wasn't still safe from witnessing him being a jackass and stubborn man. He didn't took much of notice how much Vera started liking him the longer he stayed there.
