Design Notes:

~Phantom wasn't a white dog when he was living. He was actually a dark grey type. This is the appearance his soul has taken. This tends to only happen to special classes of beings. In his case forced guardianship.

~I've removed the spot idea from his design. I've gone for a more simplistic design.

~The Borzoi originated in 17th-century Russia, when Arabian greyhounds were crossed with a thick-coated, Russian breed. In 1650, the first Borzoi standard was written. The Borzoi was bred by the Russian aristocracy for hundreds of years. The Borzoi was known until 1936 as the Russian Wolfhound.

History:   [WIP] 

He was killed and shot around 16th century culture. He was later buried in the local cemetery as a sacrificed old tradition. The old tradition is to basically use his sacrifice as a type of guardian of the cemetery to ward off evil spirits or wrong doings. It was older times when superstitions were high and black magic was sought out for protection. Unfortunately this has only cursed him to walk the lands of the cemetery as an angry phantom. The knowledge to where his body was buried has been long lost. The only way to release him from is curse has also been lost in the old ways. Now he torments the living the other trapped souls who dare walk his land.  

Phantom has been trapped in the cemetery for a very long time. He isn't a nice person and the other ghosts who "tolerate" him still aren't going to give him hugs. He terrorizes other ghosts in the cemetery along with the living. It's harder for him to send his energy to the living realm but he's so old he's become very powerful. 

~Phantom has slowly become more and more unstable as the years go by. Many other ghosts have a choice to cross over if they want too or complete their unfinished business etc. However no matter how much he wants too he can't because of his cursed position. This has caused him great stress and agony. He cries and bellows out into the night with pain and sorrow. It's not unusual to see his fur streaked with tears to goo. He has bursts of uncontroled rage at anyone whos unfortunate to cross his path. He gets into fights constantly and might carry temporary wounds here and there. 

~Has very very few friends. One is a very old human man that he talks too occasionally. This man doesn't want to cross over and Phantom fears the pain and betrayal that will most likely happen once the man leaves him. To be all alone in this is his deepest fear. But without his friend he would perish mentally and spiritually. 

~Despite the pain and time that's passed. He still holds hope one day he'll be released from his torment.
