Kind and sweet, but very awkward, the shrine maiden from Inazuma who is searching for the mysterious owner of the Anemo vision which treats her as its owner.

Although it is hard for her to really lose her temper, once she does, she becomes a force to be reckoned with.

About

After undisclosed occurrences, she and her father move from Liuye to a small village near Inazuma at the time Zu's 5 years old.

Her father remarries two years later.

Young Zu exhibits strange behaviors like talking to herself and constantly seeing figures that are not there. Eventually, things escalate and her worried family brings her to a doctor who says that physically she is perfectly healthy and suggests they talk to a priest.

It is soon revealed that the girl can see and talk to ghosts and spirits, an ability few have. Her family is terrified by this new revelation and how she will be perceived in the village. And with right, as the villagers refer to her as crazy and refuse to accept her abilities even if she proves them to be real on multiple occasions.

Gradually she becomes more and more closed off and her parents contact the priest again. Not long after Zu is sent off to live at a shrine where she hones her abilities to speak to ghosts. They give her useful information and glimpses of the future in exchange for favors - things they cannot do in their current form.

She is granted her Vision after she predicts a disaster about to hit her village and saves countless lives. Now recognized and honored among the villagers, she is still scared of returning home and goes back to the shrine, only occasionally visiting her family. Much of her time is spent learning control of her Vision, helping ghosts, and taking care of the shrine. Due to her exceptional traits, she is chosen to be trained as a shaman, something she is reluctant about but never brings up as something that bothers her.

One day, while venturing off to fulfill a ghost's requests, the girl stumbles upon an Anemo Vision which latches itself on her and causes her to float. Terrified, she spends several hours trying to take the thing off herself until she realizes that even when removed, the Vision manages to come back to her and reattach. Her determination to rid herself from the vision, combined with her unwillingness to become a shaman, lead her on a journey to find the original owner of this Vision while trying to navigate a world that is a bit too overwhelming for her awkward nature.
