Summary
Alan is a Zenith, a rare species that lives on the mountains. They are well know for three things.
They're huge, strong like three men combined and they're teh documented species that could fly the highest. Finally, due to how difficult is to meet them, information is lackluster.
Early Years
Alan was born in Lantern Valley, a mountainous zone covered by a dense sheet of clouds that hugs the peak of the imponent land relief, also well know because it can be seen colorful ligth beams slipping between the crack of the clouds.
He lived there in his early years, both parents protecting the nest in the bottom of the mountain they lived on.
Youth
Half blind, unable to fly, and with his parents far away, Alan's only option was to run without direction guaranteeing his capture for the study of his species.
He spend a lot of time locked away, moving from one place for another. Reaching the point where it was no longer feasible to return him to his place of origin, since it was presumed that all the Zeniths would have migrated when the unknown humans had arrived.
Alan ended up being sold as a servant to a series of families, the last he met, having a young girl who adored the boy, but refused to cut the chains that bound his wings so that he would not escape from his "home". Eventually, and after several unsuccessful escapes, he was sent as a fighting cock into the arenas of the surrounding kingdoms, making a living by letting himself be beaten up until the enemy fell exhausted. He never returned a single hit. This life would change when the Integrative Beast-Human Treaty was made public and universal.
Present
Alan was relocated to the town of Worthwiddle, where he got his freedom and a new dignity. They gave him a place to live and special training to learn to fly properly. At that moment, his life started to make sense again, but he wanted to find a real reason. to get up every day and spread its wings. This reason turned out to be helping people. He dedicated himself for several years to community service, helping from the largest projects, to the smallest favors, occasionally even offering transportation services.

Having mistaken him for a giant rabbit, he offended the little prince at first, so they weren't the closest. But because of Alan's attitude, Lud ended up getting closer to him. Alan always asks Lud about the Pascal Kingdom, and they usually sing in duet when they have long trips that get boring.
