Born from the death of his past self, Arnie is a loveable though occasionally naïve guardian angel. He lacks insight on the outside world as he resides in a very secluded area, far away from developed society. He is entirely unaware of his past despite having glimpses of memories when he chooses to nap. Being an immortal being he does not age or require any form of rest or sustenance.
He can be inconsiderate of his friends who he meets later in life due to difficulties socializing. Despite these hurdles he grows to become a loyal and cheerful morale booster for the ones he cares for. He is personified by his strength in art, even if he seemingly does not do anything else.
At the moment he does not know the extent of his powers, as he hasn't had many opportunities to actually utilize them. He'll figure things out soon enough.
He can get bored of drawing at times, so he tries to collect plant parts and eventually learns how to preserve them. He prefers to take care of them instead of keeping specimens, though they grow on him. He is very fond of flowers, and their beneficial properties. In general, he has a special affinity for nature, which is reflected in his art too.
He is capable of flight for long periods of time. He also has extremely good art skills. He is acutely aware of his surroundings due to his status as an angel. Immortality entails that he is unable to be harmed or hurt physically, as he can phase through physical objects.
He is often guarded towards meeting new people, only warming up to them after knowing they are safe to be around. He lacks a lot of knowledge on others as a result of his isolation, which decreases his social skills. He suffers from a chronic inability to remember, though it isn't very severe, his life is slightly hampered when he forgets important things.
He is academically gifted and naturally inclined to seek knowledge. At the cost of his time he becomes fixated on things one after the other. Often trivia and history are his prime motivators. His skills consist of diligent studies, botany, animal husbandry, and art.
His past is one of his biggest secrets, especially his fragmented memories and experience on how he died. He takes dark topics very badly, and tends to try to redirect dark conversations to different things. His childishness is intentional as he tries to be optimistic for those who know and care about him later in his existence.
He draws for as long as he can manage. When he gets bored he tries to self study to learn about things he isn't yet aware of. Once he meets other angels he decides to brush up his social skills by letting them befriend him and practice conversations.
He possesses his normal outfit and a painters' outfit. He also does art traditionally via painting with oils, goauche, and acrylic. He sucks at watercolor. At the moment his home does not run on electricity whatsoever, as people believe it is abandoned. The few who do visit his house will find that it is very tidy with the exception of his workspace.
Relationships
Fowl ( Pet )
Fowl is Arnie's favorite pet to take care of so far. He is also the only pet with a name as of now. Discovered by Arnie as a gecko on the brink of dying he was nursed back to health thanks to his newfound owner's skill in animal care. He is often quite clumsy, but is a hearty eater, which gives his owner an easy time while feeding.
He is named the way he is because Arnie likens him to a chicken or that is he cowardly. When others visit his place it is often to peoples' confusion that a perfectly healthy leopard gecko is placed inside a well-kept enclosure. Arnie's house is supposedly abandoned, though he doesn't get enough visitors for people to actually notice his existence or ransack his home.
