About

Samael is an archangel that is regarded as being a seedy figure by others of the heavenly host as well as mortals. He is known for being God's wrath and severity and because of this is one of the primary angels of death. While feared and disliked by others, he still well respected among the host. It could be argued that this respect is mostly given out of fear or simply out of habit. He purposely tempts humans to sin for his own bitter amusements so he may later punish them. Rebelled against god with a group of angels to go to earth and take wives for their own. Mated with Lilith and three other women and engendered some of the word's first real demons, including incubi and succubi. The rest of Samael's brothers were banished from heaven for their transgressions, however Samael was merely castrated and demoted. He still remains an archangel, but isn't as trusted and even less liked than before. Since the incident Samael remains subservient to god, however begrudgingly.

Trivia

• Hoped that when he rebelled to sleep with women that god would banish him as well so he too could become a demon. God knew this was Samael's end game and purposely kept him around to keep a close chain on him.
• Dumped by Lilith when she finds out he can no longer beget offspring. The three other women he sleeps with eventually become his wives, though he never sees them again.
• 50% of his body is covered in large eyes. Most of them are usually covered up by his wardrobe.
• Has 12 white wings with the tips of them stained with gold that could be mistaken for old, dry blood.
• Usually in an apathetic mood
• Comes off as if he has a hidden agenda.
• Surprisingly good around smaller children. When Michael visits Samael he often has the spirits of reincarnated children that died in the womb or never had a chance to live. Like most children they enjoy wandering and getting into trouble, which isn't limited to Samael's possesions. He readily tolerates their behaviours, up at until a certain point at least.
