Protto

Protto has hair and heart of gold... This rabbit-person used to be an astronomer, studying with the greats of his magus college, until they happened upon something quite nerve-wracking in the stars. It seemed to bade a grim and swift end to the world itself; Protto was so panicked into action that he began to quickly study under the celestial mages rather than something so humbling as charting stars and their trajectories.

Underneath it all, though, Protto is a thrill-seeker- he unabashedly loves adventures and 'roughing it'- and found a calling with learning these star-attuned magics that suited him more. He is actually optimistic beyond belief despite knowing about the foreboding messages within the starfield surrounding his earth, and hopes he can help the world. He just wishes he were a bit stronger, physically, on top of becoming a well-versed mage...

He doesn't like upsetting others, but also wants to be heard and stand up for himself. He will not hesitate to put himself before others in tense situations... But he's also not selfish enough to cause problems just to feel 'comfy' with himself, too. Protto's basically a standup guy, and all around good egg, and is somewhat aware of needing to appear 'together' at most times to make others more comfortable when given the bad news about their world, the one thing he can't sugarcoat even if he wanted to.
