basics
A stoic, stand-offish individual with a less than ideal police record, Junko’s reputation as a "bad" girl often earns the fear and ire of her fellow classmates. If it bothers her any, however, it doesn't seem to show.
Her infamy is spawned from her time as a sukeban— the leader of a small, somewhat effective, girl gang—, a title she held throughout her junior and senior high school years. It isn’t until the death of a close friend, and rumors of her own involvement in the tragedy, that Jun sees the group disbanded. Overwrought, Jun, still in high school at the time, drops out and struggles to adjust to the fresh feeling of loss. She re-enrolls in classes the following year, and what’s left of her high school experience is miserable at best. Disliked by students and teacher alike, it’s only by the skin of her teeth that she passes.
Junko has very little drive to attend college; and instead works various jobs to help support her younger brother and parents. As stoic as she is, Jun is fiercely protective of her family and the very few friends she does have. Selfless and (sometimes brutally) honest, it comes to no surprise at all to those that know her that Junko’s hard outer shell hides an exceedingly squishy underbelly. People she cares for are loved unabashedly, and are often talked about in exceedingly high esteem. Sees the best in people, but try as she may can’t seem to pinpoint one good thing about herself.
Her hobbies (don’t tell anyone!) include collecting stuffed animals, her favorites are giraffes, and pressing leaves. She works part time at a local flower shop, tending to prefer the company of plants to that of people.
