Nicole was born in New York City. Her parents are Felicity Petrov, and her late father Cyril Blade. She has three full siblings, Clinton, Noah and Megan Blade, and two half siblings; Ruby and Jaymes Petrov. Her mother remarried after her father was discovered murdered when Nicole was only four. Nicole's dream has always been to be a mother. She loves children and has always been a nurturing, mother hen type of person. Nicole has eight piercings. Three in one ear, 4 in the other, and her bellybutton. She has no tattoos. She is upper class, due to her mother still owning half of her father's company. Nicole is generally an optimist. She likes to look at the brighter side of things. Her greatest fear is losing her children. She is Agnostic, but sometimes goes to Church with Gabriela and their family (events, ceremonies, ect). She is a big believer in the existence of soul mates and true love, and often dreamt of her future husband as a small child. She wanted to be married and a mother, more than anything. She is very open about her thoughts and feelings, and is against not saying what's on your mind. She's open with her friends and family, and hopes that they will be the same with her. Nicole treats other politely. She's likes people a lot, and is often very friendly with them. She is not shy about starting conversations. Nicole tends to avoid conflict if possible. She has quite a few close friends, but as states above, her best friend is Gabriela O'Sullivan. The two have known each other since they were tiny, and are almost always together. She is married to Tala Valkov, and family is the most important thing in the world to her.

Nicole's childhood was pretty typical up until she hit four years old. Her parents were both very loving and kind people, and she was always surrounded by friends and family. This, of course, didn't change. But her father, Cyril was dealing with some shady individuals in order to help the company he shared with his best friend along quicker. A kind man, he always put this family first, and unfortunately, pissed off the wrong people. He was shot and left for dead in his office. After these events, Nicole's life changed drastically. She and her family moved into a house much closer to Gabriela, and her mother became a shut in for nearly a year. Her brother Clinton tried to help as much as he could, but he was also very young, and her brother Noah became a very angry individual. Megan was much too young to rememember anything about her birth father. It was four years after this that their mother remarried. Spencer, the Chief of Police, moved in, and things were once again strange. Nicole, Clinton and Megan grew to adore the man, but Noah held Spencer at a very negative spot. Nicole completed high school with average marks. It wasn't something that was the most important to her, but she did enjoy it for the social aspect. She had plans to go to College, but her marks were not quite up to par, so she chose to move in with Gabriela instead, getting a part time job for fun. Most of her skills were learned from her mother and her step father. She is a vegetarian, and most of the things she knows how to make were learned from her mother. Spencer has taken her and her siblings to the shooting range, and so she knows how to shoot - but it isn't something she's very fond of. Her role model growing up was her mother. Felicity is a whimsical woman, and a loving, doting mother. Her house is filled with plants and sunshine, and the older woman is very easy to talk to. Nicole often thought about how she wished she could be more like her mother while she was growing up. As an adult, she is very close to her. Nicole's relationships with her other family members were pretty typical. She gets along very well with both Clinton and Noah, both both had a habit of teasing her when they were young. Noah was the worst for it, of course, and would often tease her to the point of tears. Her relationship with Megan was also pretty typical. The two are close in age, and so they spend a lot of their time together. They bicker, but are close. Jaymes and Ruby are much younger, and so she was able to connect with them differently than her other siblings.
