Din

DIN is the masterwork of an offshoot of the ancient Babylonians who never gave up the quest to return to their original world. He was mutated into his current form through controlled exposure to both chaos energy and the energy within one of the Arks of the Cosmos. Although he was never able to create the rift they were hoping for, his chaos control ability was put to use for much of his extended lifespan in helping his people stay secluded and persue their goals. It is unknown whether they died out, gave up their goals and assimilated with the general population, or if Din's power was eventually turned on his creators' descendents... all that is known is that the only remnants of this culture are their ruins, and Din.

... Or so it would seem, until a young girl uncovered a being like Din in the arctic.
