• PERSONALITY • • Personality Traits: Dishonest, Mischevous, Unambicious, Clever, Cynical, Greedy, Sarcastic, Dramatic • Personality: Parade's a natural trickster - being a demon-spirit possessing a plush body they don't have to worry about growing old, making a living or sleeping and instead boredom is the bane of their existance. They play tricks and deceive other villagers to make their life a little more interesting, ranging from poking people with needles and making useless voodoo-like dolls of their "victims" to scare them, all the way to trying to turn others into plushies by sewing together a little soft body and binding their souls to it... Parade's dishonest, clever and charming, and will do anything to get things their way. They may come off as stubborn or dedicated, and they definitely don't mind playing the long game and spending months or even years working on a single thing. They are, however, also very dramatic and sometimes rather hysterical when things don't go the way they planned, even as far as resulting in violent fits and throwing away days of work before calming down. All in all, they're selfish, bored with life, and maybe just a little bit lonely.
• HISTORY • • Past: ° Not much is known about Parade's past, not that they like talking about it. It's unclear whether they always were a demon or if something happened to strip them of a physical body. They did mention having to hop between multiple plush bodies between the many, many years they've been alive.
• Now: ° Parade came to Lilypad in search of something to lit up their extremely boring life, hearing about all sorts of things that go down in the town. They are working on opening a toy shop where they could sell plushies, dolls and other knick knacks. And maybe offering a "release from the flesh prison", whatever that means... Disclaimer, they can posess the toys! You better double check your new purchase before you go to sleep...

• POWERS • • Immortality: As Parade doesn't have a mortal body, they don't need to worry about mortal needs - aging, eating, sleeping, or injuries. The worst that can happen is that their plushy body gets destroyed, but it doesn't affect their demon self. Besides, they have spare bodies! The only thing that is a serious risk to them are exorcisms which could potentially erase them from existance. • Possession: Parade can posess inanimate objects and move them around, trying to mimic the movement of living beings in order to blend in. • Telekinesis: They can lift up small objects and move them in the air.

• PERMISSIONS • • Roleplay: I don't usually roleplay. When I do, I exclusively do emote roleplay. • Plotting: My preferred method of plotting is drawing art pieces showing what's happening, sometimes with a bit of a description or a short story to go along with. It doesn't have to be necessarily pre-planned, if you'd like to, for example, draw/write your villager asking to be friends with mine, go ahead and I'll draw a response in my free time! • PORTRAYAL • • Basics: ° Very in-your-face, if they have a concept of personal space they actively choose to ignore it ° The way they walk is uncanny and looks off. It's comparable to their body being pulled by invisible strings attached to specific parts, like a doll

• Specific Interactions: ° Approached by a stranger: Well, Parade's the one usually approaching others out of nowhere, so when somebody comes up to them it's time to have some fun! They'll be intentionally just a bit creepy and off-putting, ignoring the other party's personal space. Will chat about all sorts of things, including ranting about flesh bodies and praising the convenience of their own soft body, and offering to "help" others [without providing much context or clarification]. ° Asked for their number: Refuses. While Parade likes to have fun and also likes having customers, they believe their number is strictly private and they have no intention of changing that. ° Asked for help by a stranger: Will openly ask what they'll get in return. If they're particularly bored they'll help the poor soul, but not without thinking of ways to profit from the exchange. ° Asked to hang out by a friend: Parade doesn't have friends. But, if the fiend ever had one, they would be up to "hang out" from time to time if their schedule allowed it. ° Asked out: Laughs in your face, openly mocking you for having "funny" feelings.

They're the perfect familiar you could ask for, and Parade made sure to make the best assistant they could. Friend helps Parade with obtaining ingredients, spies on others, and most importantly, looks cute to attact possible customers and lower their guard. Despite being used for nefarious reasons, Friend enjoys the attention and likes helping around - they're genuinely a nice little familiar! They're very scared of the washing machine. They hate being washed inside, and usually avoids getting dirty for that reason. Has trouble expressing emotions, as their button eyes are stuck in place.
