STORY
- Despite being an excellent sniper, Caleb is good with every kind of firearm.
- Caleb is some kind of celebrity inside the NCR, but not outside.
Caleb was born in Shady Sands, son of two NCR rangers, who became famous as soon as the desert rangers were integrated and they were promoted. He had a very good childhood, despite his parents being a little hard on him sometimes.
From a very young age, Caleb dreamed of being a ranger like his parents, he always worked hard for it. He was already an excellent shooter since he was 10.
Once Caleb was 16, he was allowed to officially join the NCR army. Those were the most difficult times since he was the youngest and was looked down upon others, but he continued to work hard and show his worth.
At the age of 20 years, Caleb was invited to join the elite rangers. Most of the time he only worked as a poster boy, which he liked to do, but would rather be working like a real soldier. Many times he would sneak out to help the other rangers, until he was trusted with real work.
When Caleb was 22, he was transferred to Vegas, since they need extra help with the Mojave campaign. Getting there, he had much more work to do than back at home, easily rising his status and becoming idolized for being so good at his job.
One year later, traveling alone by south Vegas on his way to the strip, he was ambushed by Khans and taken to Red Rock Canyon. There, he was tied facing his back to a legionary. They were left there for hours, until the Khans decided what to do with them. After some resistance, the legionary finally answered to Caleb's questions, Caleb found out that he was called Max, and was ambushed just like him. Caleb and Max had to leave their differences aside and help each other to escape. After that, they followed different paths.
Finally arriving in the strip, Caleb went straight to the tops casino, where he was supposed to meet Leone, an old friend of his parents. Settling down at Camp Golf, Caleb met the courier six, Howahkan. They became friends and started traveling together.
The president of the NCR was holding a speech to the troops at Hoover Dam. Caleb was assigned to protect the president the entire time, while Howahkan helped with security. Caleb was side by side with Howahkan at the second battle of Hoover Dam.
After the second battle of Hoover Dam, Caleb went back home to California. He sometimes travels back to the Mojave for work or to visit the people he met there.
