Caius was born and raised in the legion, son of a primus pilus centurion. He was trained to be a soldier since very young. his scars are why he received the title of Tigris.
He's the youngest to ever get to the rank of centurion, so he's often looked down upon others, but he got his rank by his own, his father never helped. He even tried to grow a beard to look older.
Caius is some kind of a celebrity for the legion. His subordinates admire him, some fear him.
