Astrophel, at first glance, is quite cheerful and friendly. They are a new face in Aurora Land and love the vibrance, and can often be seen exploring the more lively areas, sometimes carrying on small conversation with others they meet. They tend to be more on the observant side of things, however, as opposed to really engaging with the larger crowd. Years spent on their lonesome have made their social skills a little rusty, and this often makes them self-conscious and shy.

This ghostly kami does, however, carry a more somber past with them, the experience usually quietly tucked away in the back of their mind. Although it is still unclear exactly what happened, Astrophel's past life as an astronaut ended in tragedy, and they awoke in the aftermath as a partial ghost and totally alone in the void of space. It's unclear exactly how long they were wandering the cosmos, searching for home, but it could've been thousands of years for all they know. Eventually, they stumbled upon a bright portal that transported them to Aurora Land. They are afraid of being alone and constantly crave the company of others because of it, even if not directly interacting. They are also incredibly self-sufficient because of their time alone. Despite everything, they are an optimist who believes that things will always turn out for the better.
