Former teammates with Tora,Jin stood by them after the loss of their sensei and followed Tora wherever they went,including the Anbu.His skills excelled there and he even stayed on long after Tora announced they were going to be taking on their own team of genin. Jin decided to leave his perminant spot in the anbu after a really intense chase down with Ryūsaki Gōkō in which Jin and his team failed to capture her,he still works quite closely with the Anbu now but is not perminantly apart of the ops. He is known as the No.1 tracker in the leaf and has even been called upon from other villages for sensitive missions before.
