Firstborn daughter of the greatest former Champion Galar has seen and of the new region's Professor, Tara always had quite high expectations on her shoulders...expectations she absent-mindedly just shrugs off.
While she does enjoy Pokémon battling (especially if she comes out as the victor) and she does dream of becoming Champion like her father once was, ultimately to her everything is pretty much a game, so as long as she has fun she doesn't really mind. Even though she looks thick and dumb af for this in the way she acts, she actually just wants to avoid unneeded stress that would only lead to heartache, as she had second-handedly experienced from family and those around her.
Even if she's not really that competitive, she always aims to win, and puts her best efforts in whatever she's doing. She's also extremely stubborn, so while usually she lets things go and is pretty chill, she can and will absolutely stomp her feet down until you either agree with her, or the discussion is ended.
Tara loves pampering her beloved ones, especially her siblings! She's a big sister through and thorough and believes that her siblings' issues are hers ---ending up a bit overprotective and smothering at times. She's generally pretty helpful and generous with anyone though!
During her Pokémon journey she finds herself loving more the travelling than the actual challenge, so will ponder over what she truly wants to be, considering being a traveler/adventurer as an option. She would love to compile a book of her findings about all uncharted territory in the Pokémon world!
Her Pokémon team is not really that competitive in terms of roster, but she's convinced that a true trainer should win with their favorite Pokémon regardless of competitivity. While as a kid her dream was to have a giant Charizard just like her father's, she ultimately decided against it to not be considered his copycat, and opted for Appletun as her signature and Gigamax Pokémon. However, she still has her Charizard in her team, as Leon had bred it specifically for her when she was a kid, and Tara is really attached to her!

- Her name comes for Taraxacum (officinalis), dandelion's scientific name; however, it also comes from the Hill of Tara/Hill of Kings, an archeological place in Ireland which according to tradition was the seat of the High King of Ireland and the location of Tara's Halls, where the deeds of heroes were sung;
(Tara also means "star, light of the soul" in sanskrit) - Despite being the elder sibling, she's actually the shorter one of the family;
- Since Leon and Sonia know basically everyone, she has the habit of calling everyone uncle or auntie (she absolutely loves uncle Milo's apple pies!);
- Her favorite genre is fantasy, she's often found playing/reading fantasy games and books, and as a child was very imaginative with her play-pretends;
- Also really likes the countryside and generally country aesthetics; will totally play cowboy if given the chance!

- She tends to mostly use either Fast Balls or Premier Balls;
- Her favorite Legendaries are Zamazenta, Victini and Raikou; she doesn't really have a favorite Pokémon type/s, but she has a weak spot for quick Pokémon, or Pokémon that are usually initially difficult to breed! (like Magikarp to Gyarados)
