Other Characters in Ten Years

I've given a little bit of thought as to what some of my other OCs will be doing in the future timeline, but I'm either not committed to these ideas, and/or they're just not "interesting" enough to warrant their own profile section IMO... So I'll just make one big list of their plausible future lives here. Think of this as basically one of those "here's what the cast is doing now" things you sometimes see with the end credits of movies and such.

Mitra & Ozie: I'm guessing that they'll still be at their current jobs in ten years, and they'll continue to live happily and comfortably together (along with their two kiddos!) Hopefully they've at least gotten promotions + pay raises at their workplaces within the past decade to help with childcare costs. And I'm sure that Ozie will have a new helper down at the bakery, too, since Max wanted to leave the bakery at some point and open up a museum.

Max: He opens his museum in a couple of years into the future (c. 2018), and eight years later, business is going well! As for Max's personal life: I imagine that he'll still be living in his same old flat, and (I hope, for his sake) that his anxiety will at least be under better control, if not "cured". And who knows- maybe he'll even be married to Monty! (Actually, I have no idea where I'm headed with Max and Monty's relationship; they'll probably still be in touch in ten years, but I'm not sure if they'll ever become an 'official' couple, or if they'll just continue to keep things platonic.)

Monty: I don't expect much to change for him in ten years, honestly; he's kind of a creature of habit. Except maybe now he's thinking more about his future and pondering about stuff like retirement & what he'll do as a backup career if carpentry ends up being too hard on his body. Who knows- maybe he actually will end up marrying Maxwell just for the security!

Jackie & her family: Jackie is still in tech- most likely still employed as a hacker, but maybe she does other tech stuff now, too? (Like programming, etc). And she's married to her present-day boyfriend now, and raising her two stepkids- both of whom are now 17. Yikes! I bet they're all feeling the crunch with college applications and stuff.

Kathryn: She can hardly picture what her life will be like in two or three years let alone ten, so it's hard to say what she'll be doing in ten years. Ideally, she'd like to be employed doing something science-y, like a researcher or something. I imagine she will have gone to college by now and pursued some kind of science degree to facilitate that. As for her living situation: hopefully she's living in the city now, since that's where she wants to live. I imagine she'd probably be sharing a flat with a roommate other than her sister in that case, since Delilah isn't too keen on city life. Or maybe she's living on her own? Idk.

Delilah & Amy: Yep, they're officially a couple now- and soon to be married! Delilah is working in field biology, and Amy has some kind of earth science-y job, too. They share a flat in Darlam together along with their two cats, but are looking to upgrade to a house (ideally a small-to-medium-sized one in the countryside). The two of them would also like to start having children within the next handful of years, but first they need to get married and find a bigger place to live. Also, Delilah is still close friends with Tigien (if you can believe that); Delilah and Amy often turn to him for lifestyle advice, since they both want their future home to be "semi-off-grid", and Ti obviously knows a thing or two about that. Ti certainly doesn't mind passing along his knowledge to them- in fact, he quite enjoys it! (Sometimes Ti will even call upon Amy & Delilah to look after his own cabin in the woods whenever he needs to be away for a while, which they both love doing!)

Leonah, Elanor, & Tim: They're a bunch of retired old coots in the present timeline, so in ten years... they'll still be a bunch of retired old coots, haha. They're all still living independently and in good health at least.

Ozie's Mother: Another present-day retired old coot, although I don't think she'll be in quite as good of health as Mitra's parents in ten years, unfortunately. If she's still around, she'll probably be in a nursing home with maybe only a few years left on her. Poor girl.
