Royal guard to the devilqueen, Stone♖Cold is one of the oldest, if not the oldest surviving devilspawn. Often reserved and wordless, Stone♖Cold is undyingly loyal to her queen and believes her only value to devil society is to serve and protect the crown. If the queen wants her to kill, she will do so, and if the queen wishes for her to begone, then so be it. It is all she is useful for, and she has accepted this fact.
Still, Stone♖Cold is not commonly violent. Only if necessary. While certainly imposing in their gruff, silent stature, they remain deeply nostalgic for the past. The old times, as they say, when devils were better people. When they weren't even devils at all. Oddly, they've been shown to be civil and cooperative with humans they feel aren't a threat to the queen, and are more than willing to discuss the secrets of devilspawn when able. Over the years, they have become a wealth of knowledge for amatuer reasearchers, and are frequently saught after and hunted for.

Biology
• The devil has no skin, and is instead made almost entirely of smooth dark stone. Fur grows and clumps heavily in several areas to form the arms, neck, and shoulders.
• The 'beaks' are the only exception, made of thick cartilage.
• The devil has no internal structure otherwise. The stone segments of the body are entirely solid, and can be broken or worn down like any stone statue.
• The devil is capable of turning any other solid matter to stone via physical touch with the hands. This ability can be controlled, but cannot be reversed.
Influence
• Thralls of the devil find themselves unable to connect with past memories, and are instead filled only with a profound sense of sadness and longing when recalling cherished moments, a deep desire to go back. Objects, images, and stories in relation to said memories also bring about these feelings.
• A small percentage of these thralls may even attempt to recreate or relive these memories, but fail to achieve any sense of closure. The only remedy to these feelings is to willfully move on from these moments, to choose to forget them.
• Thralls likewise will feel a similar detachment to the world around them, again having feelings that something in their life is off or has changed, that things used to be better.
• Oddly, however, thralls of the devil do suddenly gain a fantastic ability to recall events with absolute clarity, even the once foggiest, oldest of memories.
• The devil is one of few to physically take the soul from their thrall, by reaching into, and ripping the soul out of the chest. The devil is not keen on doing this, both because they wish to abstain from needless violence, and because they do not wish to inflict such yearning on others.
• The devil has little influence on the surface world, outside of those looking for information from them, and seems to feel validated merely through serving the crown.
Relations

The devil is one of the few figures the crown respects. Likely also one of the few with which the crown is willing to discuss delicate royal matters. The devil may possibly even harbor feelings for the queen, though it's still highly debated if devils can have such feelings at all.
