Shion

Shion is the last surviving dragonfolk of the Astral element--the most mysterious and powerful element of dragonfolk. He belongs to the tribe of "Starlit Mountain's Claws." He had been living peacfully in the mountains with the rest of his tribe, but 200 years ago, his village was attacked. Seeing their tools and weapons of fire and steel, pitchforks in hand, Shion believed them to be human beings. Shion watched his entire village burn. He thought he would die like everyone else... but he was spared. For reasons unknown to him at the time, pity was taken upon him, as the youngest member of the clan. Rather than being killed like everyone else, an "alchemist" within the group took pity on him and cast a spell to trap him in ice...Shion fell into a deep slumber for many years, but the only dreams he had were ones of revenge. Until 200 years later, when he was freed from the ice by a mysterious adventurer...

Shion is ready to maul the adventurer on sight, but said adventurer brings up a curious claim... that the ones who attacked his village are still alive, somehow. Shion is forced to travel with the adventurer, in order to get his revenge. But soon Shion will realize that he was wrong-- when he discovers the truth behind the events of 200 years ago, he is forced to make a choice...to decide his fate, and that of the world.
