Mara

Mara was an incredibly bitter child and teen, because of the disease that took her sight.  She was absolutely horrible to her brother growing up, manipulating him and guilting him into some pretty rough situations that seems to continue to haunt him into his adult age even.  As she further matured, she genuinely felt bad for the things she'd done.  Though perhaps she had every intention of giving herself to the church and attempting to correct her terrible ills of the past, she instead fell from Kulluaari and finds herself on Kotiin proper now.  

She has decided to take this as a sign from the goddesses, a second chance, and has sworn off her familial connections and past.
