Not much about Charles is known. It's not entirely known his exact model— or even if he was made with one in mind. He's a sort of street urchin, speculated to be a runaway, that has simple always existed in the city. Temperament wise he's a very fun-loving guy, and when he's not obsessing over expenses he loves to get out and have fun. Otherwise he is doggedly meticulous with how he lives and what he spends. It's obvious that he fears going back to living only with his own devices. He also often comes off as guarded around most people due to his rough upbringing and extensive knowledge on just how cruel some can be. Even though the walls are let down around aquatinted people he almost always seems ready to raise them at a moment's notice.

Charles is a mystery to those around him. Through some chance events Markov offered the little street urchin a place to stay as a roommate— an offer no doubt made out of pity. He would jump at the offer of a place to stay, desperate enough that he didn't quite care how much of a stranger Markov was with his strange accent and all. In the beginning he was incredibly wary of his elder roommate and worried often about unmentioned conditions or ill natured intentions. Much to his relief these never came to fruition— as long as he was fine with 4∅4 occasionally showing up, him occasionally spending the night, or Markov arriving and leaving at odd hours of the day for work. Before long the trio grew quite close— 4∅4 in particular enjoying to leave gifts or offer advice using what little life experience he can confidently offer. Charles definitely loves the little found family he has found himself and each day he feels further from the merciless streets he had become so accustomed to.
