Soft Cursed boy.

If you travel down the Crimson Woods at night, you might stumble in front of a small house, with smoke coming from the chimney and a sweet smell of cinnamon surrounding it. If you decide to knock on the door, maybe you will be greated by the friendly and soft face of Achille, filtering through the slightly opened door, letting you grasp the soft smell of a firewood burning, and the delicious smell of whatever he was cooking when you interrupted him.

But he will not let you in before warning you, not without a soft hint of sadness, that usually, travelers don't appreciate much his company, and end up leaving quickly.

But, if you still let the comfort of his cosy home conquer your fear and decide to still come in to join him for lunch, the huge inky mass that his tail is will great you. What a sight it is - Big teeth, with plenty of eyes, and a shape oscillating at will.

" Do not worry about... This, it's not dangerous!"

Will tell you the small dog, visibly embarassed.
As for a tail, he was cursed with a trapped soul, with a terrifying appearence but no intend to harm anyone. Even if his tail have a consciousness, it does not speak. But it still keeps him company, will he tells you, laughing softly.

If you stay with him and enjoy his food, he might even start telling you the story of how he got cursed - Or, in fact, how his brother got cursed, leading him to suffer the consequences of his sibling's action. But he does not seems to hold any grudge against said brother - even saying softly that his brother is not responsible, and that he misses him. But he will stop the conversation here, and unless you lack seriously of decency, you will not press the matter more, as it seems to be a tricky subject.

But this soft child is just lonely; hiding in his little cabine in the woods. Maybe if you come to say "hi", once in a while, you will even gain in him a trusting friend and loyal confident. Maybe one day he will tell you what happened in detail... Who knows.
