He's the private advisor in the loveboat, he does all the paperwork and revisions for the captain. therefore he's usually really tired and and will not put up with anyone trying to chat him up.
Before he was recruited, he was another nomad in Oddesa. making his way through the wasteland and just overall trying to survive. until one day he got in a scuffle and ended up killing the wrong guy, a guy that just so happened to be the son of some gang leader. so he had to hide away for the longest time until he was found out by one of the soldiers from the boat.
personality wise, he's very, very deadpan. If you try to talk with him chances are he'll be curt with his responses, and will most likely not humor anyone other than his boss. or at least that's a front he puts on. He has one secret and that is he is entirely infatuated by the captain's assistant, even though it's completely one-sided. He'll do the most to impress him or get his attention.
