Overview

Itaru is your typical rich successor of an international infrastructure enterprise, the A.L. Corp. But because he is your classic stereotype, he is also a complete rebel - though for a legitimate reason. For over 10 years, he had got into a huge fight with his parents because his family disapproves of his sexual orientation and went ahead to adopt a foreigner as their second son without his consultation. Unable to bear living under the same roof with them again, Itaru moved out using his share of the money and lived an aimless life. After that, he was not sure what to do with himself anymore, and he eventually got addicted to antique auctions in order to enjoy the thrill of spending (wasting) large amounts of money in one go.

Despite being the only blood related children in his family, the tension between him and his parents was so bad that Itaru was written out of the family's will and was excluded from any of the corporation's major business. The only thing he was allowed to manage was the family's side business - an illegal underground fight club in the downtown area which has been operating for years to generate quick and easy cash. Having appointed Itaru as the facility's operation manager served two purposes, firstly, it was to ensure everything going on in this site is completely transparent to the family (it is an illegal business after all); and secondly, Itaru is a perfect scapegoat in case the site was busted (imagine how easy it would be to spin a tale about a rich family rebel who operates an illegal fightclub for fun...typical!). Itaru knew this perfectly well, yet he still agreed to take on this risky task because he didn't have much to loose in life anyways. There, he met a fighter named Ikami, a poor boy who was sold to the facility by his father when he was young. Itaru was deeply impressed by Ikami, who appeared small and tiny but was strong, tough, independent, and well, adorable. The two eventually began going out in secret, and under the influence of poor Ikami, Itaru was determined to shut the family's fighting business down to free all the imprisoned fighters from this compound. Unfortunately, his plan was busted before it was ready, and Ikami was ordered to be killed by Itaru's parents as retribution to their son's action. RIP.
