- He was born in South Africa but moved to the US when he was ten years old, then he met Rubin and Dash, his two childhood best friends. Rai he has known since he was a child, he discovered Rai when he was three years old, in an alley way consuming the soul of his own abuser after knocking him out with sleeping pills an hour prior.
- Rai is the one who resurrected Maddox, Rubin and Dash after the three's unfortunate accidents. He was unable to convert them to be demons like himself so he had used necromancy to bring them back from the dead, as undeads/zombies but with a plus, they won't deteriorate further nor have loss function of anything within their bodies.
- Maddox and Dash are in an open polyamorous relationship for years, they started dating when the two were older teens.
- Has feral fits sometimes which results in him attacking someone and trying to eat them, they mostly happen during the new moon. Luckily Maddox is not contagious, he cannot pass on a 'zombie virus'.
