After recovering the 3 mutants he had accidentally created, Dr. Thromb grew curious about just how they were formed...and just how much he could control what they turned out like. He decided he would get two subjects to test on. An invertebrate and a carnivorous plant.
The invertebrate's mutation was cut short by an unwelcome government visit, but Thromb knew they had no reason to suspect the plant. After all, it seemed to be growing more slowly than the other.
Soon, a week came to pass. Then another. Another after that. Progress seemed like it had slown to a crawl, under idea was proposed to place it under the highest point of the cliffside laboratory. Soon, It had grown teeth. Many teeth. Soon, it grew legs. Many legs. By the end of its week in the sun, a terrifying, man-eating monster was made.
