Florin Droken

Florin is Brutus's second youngest sibling! She is a little airheaded and clumsy but is always looking out for those she cares for (although sometimes she can accidentally be a little nosy/pushy). Florin is considered the most social of all the droken siblings, she can always find something to talk about, even managing to make mundane subjects interesting! Florin can be pretty clingy, especially with those she’s fond of (she’s always hanging off of her family and friends), and doesn’t like to be on her lonesome for long. Usually Florin is the first creature the Droken family sends when they need to run errands down in the village, Arrius, Brutus, and Rebecca never really being excited for that much social interaction. While Florin can definitely come off as rather ditzy, she’s a lot more perceptive than creatures give her credit for (and is somehow always caught up with the gossip in the village…). Florin doesn’t appreciate other creatures treating her like she’s dumb or incapable, and although it’s rare, Florin won’t hesitate to snap back at someone when she’s reached her limit – especially so if someone’s talking bad about her family. Florin can be just as scary as Brutus when angry, a headstrong little spitfire (and it doesn't help that she can be a bit petty and is known for holding onto grudges).

Florin and Arrius spend a lot of time together working in fields and doing general farmwork, but Florin has a particular love for taking care of their farm animals! The Droken’s raise living stones and harvest the moss and flowers that come from them (which have healing properties and can be turned into tea!). They also have a small herd of furworms and use their wool for knitting/weaving. Florin’s favorite animals however are the glowshroom spiders! Their big eyes are so cute and they glow in so many pretty colors, moreover, their eggs and mushrooms are delicious when scrambled! They have four glowshroom spiders, and Florin’s favorite is Sunny, a dark brown spider with yellow and orange mushrooms. Sunny loyally follows Florin around as she works and always demands head scritches.

When things get rough and the world seems shitty, Florin serves as an anchor of hopefulness in the Droken family. She isn’t one to exaggerate positivity, but she helps the rest of her family stay calm and focused on the good things when they face hardships. Also despite being built bony and lanky, Florin gives the best hugs. So that also helps.
