About
MEANING
In American folklore, the axehandle hound is a "fearsome critter" of Minnesota and Wisconsin. The animal resembles a dog with a body axe-like in shape. It has a head shaped like an axe blade, hence the name, complemented by a handle-shaped body atop short stubby legs. It subsists on a diet consisting entirely on the handles of axes which have been left unattended. The axehandle hound travels from camp to camp searching for its next meal nocturnally.
ABOUT
Axel loves to steal and munch on axes. He is a little cheeky boy who is very friendly and social. He is usually energetic, but can also be very calm and empathetic. One of his best friends is Hedge (Zježiť sa), but he loves meeting others. It isn't easy for him to get very close to other paralogos, but he tries.
He spends most of his time with Hedge. They act annoyed by him, but they enjoy his company.
MAGIC/WISDOM
TIER 1 ABILITY: This Paralogos apparently prefers and is attracted to "eat" wooden tool handles with no injury to themselves, and will also go after similar related parts of axes and tools.
TIER 2 ABILITY: Can easily find misplaced or unattended axe handles
TIER 3 ABILITY: Can repair damaged axes, both their handles and heads
TIER 4 ABILITY: Can move an axe handle slightly closer if it's out of reach
TIER 5 ABILITY: Can make an illusion of turning other dogs into a more axehandle-hound shape
TIER 6 ABILITY: Head crest fin can become sharper like an actual axe head and can be used like one. Crest itself becomes more wooden looking like an axe handle
